With our inhouse 3D Print facility we are able to offer 3D Printing Services. We have 2 different types of print machines chosen to allow a wide range of solutions and the ability to print in may types of material and resins.

Zortrax

This machine was chosen due to its reliabilty, model finish, and range of printable materials,

Machine Specification.

FDM (fused deposition modelling)

Max Print Size - 200mm x 200 x 180mm

Layer Resolution - 90-400 micons

Nozzle temperture - upto 380˚C [716˚F]

Heated Bed - Yes

Materials - Standard ABS or PLA.

Other special materials upon request specific for the Zortrax 3D printer. -

Z-ULTRAT - The versatile material that lets you prototype models with features of products manufactured using injection molding technology, all in-house. The strong, stable, and time-resistant material is available in a wide range of colors.

Z-HIPS - Used to help singificantly reduce warping and visibly shorten the time you’re spending on post-processing. The material has a unique mat structure that absorbs light and reduces the visibility of minor flaws. It’s great for printing bigger part, housing or architectural prototypes

Z-GLASS - Used to imitate glass, Its light-transmitting surface makes it applicable in automotive, industrial design, and architecture projects.

Z-PETG - highly resistant to salts, acids, and alkalis. The models will have a glossy surface that is also resistant to impact, time, and UV light.

Z-PCABS - Combining two durable materials. Therefore it’s durable and impact resistant, suited for producing casings. It’s also resistant to temperatures, UV lights, and chemicals.

 

Formlabs Form 2

This machine is a SLA (stereolithography) type machine which prints using resin and lasers and is capable of outstandingly detailed prints.

Layer Resolution - 25 - 300 micons

Materials kept instock - White.

Standard Resin's. -

Clear - Transparency, polishes to near optical clarity, great for internal channels and working with light.

White - Neutral tone, slight opacity when thin, provides a great base color for painting prints.

Grey - Neutral tone, slight opacity when thin, great for showing off surface finish, photographs easily.

Black - Highly pigmented, our most opaque, high detail resin, great for printing small, accurate features.

Other special Resin's upon request.

Flexible Resin - Impact resistance, compression, great for ergonomic soft-touch grips. Flexible is versatile, tactile, and impact-resistant. Push the boundaries of 3D printing by creating parts that are bendable and compressible. Excellent for prototyping, product design, and engineering.

Castable - Investment casting, blue color, slightly softer than standard resins before post-curing. Castable burns out cleanly, without ash or residue and captures crisp, precise detail as well as extraordinarily smooth surfaces. It allows jewelers, designers, and engineers to go straight from a 3D design to a model suited for direct investment.
